About Us

Immanuel is the Director and Principal Physiotherapist at Accord. He graduated from the prestigious Dr. MGR Medical University in 2000 with a bachelor’s in Physiotherapy. He worked in India and the Middle East for a few years before moving to the UK in 2006.

Immanuel has worked for the Spencer Private Hospital at Margate for almost nine years. He has completed a Diploma in orthopaedic medicine with the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine London which is validated by Middlesex University.

In 2013, he completed an MSc in Exercise and Sports Injury at Manchester Metropolitan University. His dissertation explored the study of response shift in patients undergoing ACL repair which secured a distinction. His work was presented at the Sports Medicine conference in Glasgow in October 2013 and the British Psychological Society DSEP conference in Manchester in December 2013. His thesis was nominated for the BASES Master’s Dissertation Award for 2013.

Immanuel has completed leadership and management training with the Institute of Leadership and Management (UK). He was awarded the Margaret Fenwick Award for outstanding achievement. This training has provided him with practical solutions and application of managerial skills in effective management of time, and planning my clinical and non-clinical activities.

Immanuel worked for a local AQP provider as an MSK specialist/First contact practitioner Physiotherapist at local surgeries in Thanet for nine years. Immanuel has completed AACP certified acupuncture course and a soft tissue and joint injection therapy course from Essex University.

His areas of interest include Advanced musculoskeletal practice, lower limb rehabilitation, shoulder rehabilitation, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
